Nixon Muguzu – Out growers, Cashew

Nixon is a trained agronomist with over 20 years experience within the horticulture sector.  Nixon oversees agronomy, farmer trainings and certifications.  Nixon holds a BSC in Horticulture with training in fertiliser advisory, certification schemes, environmental management, risk assessment, pesticide usage and safety and outgrower management.  Muguzu is tasked with the 1 million Cashew Tree Campaign at the Kenyan Coast.

Caroline Kiptoo – Sales & Marketing Executive

Carol holds a Business Management and Information Technology degree with experience across all aspects of the business.  Carol is the Sales & Marketing Executive in charge of shipping & client management.

Gloria Migayi – Senior HR Associate

Human Resources Practitioner with 9 years work experience managing HR and Administration function including organization effectiveness, industrial relations, leading human resource practices and objectives that provides an employee-oriented, encouraging high performing culture, safety & health, talent management and staff development.

Previously worked for K.K Security Ltd, Unga Group Ltd, African Diatomite Industries Ltd and Jubilee Insurance Kenya Ltd.

Attained Bachelors of Commerce, Human Resources Management degree and Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management.  A member of IHRM-Kenya. Currently pursuing Masters of Business Administration degree at Kabarak University.

John Wachira – Outgrower Manager,  Rwanda

Having worked across the food-exporting sector for 5 years, Wachira brings with him a wealth of experience and skills.  Wachira holds a bachelors degree of Science & Agriculture from the University of Nairobi.  Wachira is tasked to coordinate all field projects including up-skilling farmers.  Wachira has previously worked for SACDEP and FPEAK.  Wachira currently overseas over 10,000 contracted farmers in Kenya and Rwanda.

Brenda Matete – Quality Assurance & Safety Manager

Brenda is a certified food technologist & lead auditor trainer in ISO 22000. Brenda has spearheaded the development, implementation, and continued conformity assessment for continuous improvement of the food safety quality management systems across the organisation.  Brenda holds a degree in Food Science & Technology from Kenyatta University with a Masters in Business administration.  She previously worked for Premier Foods Industries Ltd as the head of Quality Assurance and Safety for 10 years.

Bonface Nganga – General Manager Operations

As the General Manager Operations, Bonface manages over 500 staff driving farmer relations, transformational projects, sourcing & production. Bonface sources from 15,000 cashew nuts farmers and over 60,000 macadamia farmers each month.  Before joining the organisation, Bonface worked as General Manager at Finch Travels for over 10 years coordinating and arranging safaris all over East Africa.

Christine OtienoOutgrowers, Macadamia

Christine has 8 years’ experience in the horticulture sector as an exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables. Christine oversees the out grower’s department and brings on board her vast experience of working with small holder farmers and shall oversee the agronomy and purchasing department. Christine holds a BSC in finance from United States International University

Vinn Kola – Outgrowers Manager, Kenya

Vinn having achieved second class honors in economics and statistics degree has coordinated both the outgrowers and nurseries departments’ fostering good relations with farmers and spearheading Fairtrade and organic standards.

Allan Bussard – Marketing Director, Europe

Since founding Integra in 1995 focuses on enterprise solutions to poverty, with investment, consulting and training engagements in the areas of microenterprise development for women at risk, Social Enterprise development for disadvantaged groups, Corporate Social Responsibility advocacy and training, anti-corruption advocacy, awareness and training, Fair Trade and youth employment and enterprise creation.

Diana Asetto – General Manager, Support Services

Diana is a professional in human resource & administration; she holds a degree in Psychology from Daystar University and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Kenyatta University.

Frank Omondi – Managing Director

Currently leading the expansion and operations at TSA, Frank has over ten years working intensively in social and change programs among them, the Marketing Strategy Advisor to the then Minister for Tourism Kenya, Hon. Danson Mwazo, Co-owner and Director at Finch Travels Ltd (Nairobi based tour company) and Kiwanjani Ecolodge in Tsavo as well as leading wildlife policy advocacy with several NGOs recently Youth for Conservation. Frank has extensive training and practice in Business Planning and Consulting, Fundraising and Community relations. He holds a degree in Wildlife Management from Moi University, Kenya.

Herbert Liberman – Marketing North America

Herb is involved in the marketing and sales of Ten Senses Africa products in North America. He has been involved with Ten Senses since its conception.

Etsabo Wanyama – Production Manager

Mr Etsabo ensures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good automated manufacturing practice systems; validating processes; providing documentation and managing staff. He handles all issues concerning food and health safety in the company. He ensures that the products are of the highest quality possible at any given time. He has more than 10 years working experience in this line of work. Previously Estabo Worked for Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation Kenya Ltd a respectable Agricultural parastatal

David Ogiga – Head of Projects

David is the Head of Projects supporting Ten Senses Out grower projects in Kenya and Rwanda. He has over ten years’ experience working in social and change programs in African Agriculture, Education and Conservation and  holds a degree in Environmental Science from Moi University, Kenya

John Matole – Business Development Officer

Matole is responsible for analyzing our customer base and current sales strategies and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability. He holds a bachelor degree in Education (Arts) from Pwani University with 4 years’ experience in the food industry.
